01Quick Answer

Straight Answers

How much does epoxy flooring cost per sq ft in India 2026?

₹200 per sq ft all-in for a standard 2mm self-levelling floor using Bondone Flowtop — material + labour + GST included. A 500 sq.ft floor costs ₹1,00,000; a 1,000 sq.ft floor costs ₹2,00,000. Chemical-resistant floors (Silcrete, Jubitite Floro) are priced the same. As of September 2026.

What is the total epoxy flooring cost per sq ft in India?

2mm self-levelling epoxy floor using Bondone Flowtop costs ₹200 per sq ft all-in (material + labour, incl GST) as of September 2026. This includes surface preparation (grinding + primer), the epoxy material at ₹511/kg, and contractor labour. Chemical-resistant floors using Silcrete or Jubitite Floro are priced the same.

Can I get bulk or wholesale flooring pricing?

No. Prices are final regardless of quantity — a 200kg drum costs the same per kg as a 7.5kg kit. What changes is freight: drums ship by transport instead of courier, which trims per-sq-ft logistics on projects above 2,000 sq.ft. WhatsApp me your area for the exact landed cost.

Do the prices include GST and labour?

Yes. Every price on this page includes GST, and the ₹200 per sq ft figure covers both material and contractor labour for a standard 2mm job. A GST invoice is issued with every order so businesses can claim input tax credit.

02Cost Factors

What Moves the Price Per Sq Ft?

Most contractors are asked "rate per sq ft?" first — but the answer depends on your substrate, traffic, and chemical exposure. Here is exactly what moves the price.

Surface preparation

Grinding + primer: ₹10–18/sq.ft. Skipping this saves money upfront but costs 5x later when epoxy peels. A contractor in Pune skipped primer and lost ₹1.2 lakh redoing 800 sq.ft within 8 months.

Number of coats

1 coat (1mm): ₹25–35/sq.ft material. 2 coats (2mm): ₹40–55/sq.ft. Heavy-traffic warehouses need 2mm minimum; showrooms can manage 1.5mm.

Chemical resistance

Standard self-levelling (Flowtop) is cheaper than acid-resistant Silcrete. Pharma and battery-room floors cost ~30% more due to specialised epoxy primers and topcoats.

Labour + logistics

Delhi NCR labour: ₹14–18/sq.ft. Tier-2 cities: ₹10–14/sq.ft. PAN India freight adds ₹2–5/sq.ft depending on distance from our Ghaziabad warehouse.

Every project is different — WhatsApp me your dimensions and substrate and I will quote your all-in per-sq-ft price in minutes.

03Price Ranges

Epoxy Flooring Cost Per Sq Ft — Real Ranges (September 2026)

All-in material + labour estimates for Delhi NCR. Prices include GST and vary by city and site condition.

Epoxy flooring cost per sq.ft in India by floor system — material + labour + GST, Delhi NCR base, as of September 2026
Floor Type Material / sq.ft Labour + Prep All-in Typical / sq.ft
Standard Self-Levelling (1mm — Flowtop)₹80 – ₹100₹100 – ₹120₹180 – ₹220
Heavy Duty (2mm — Flowtop)₹100 – ₹130₹70 – ₹100₹170 – ₹230
Chemical Resistant (Silcrete / Floro)₹120 – ₹150₹50 – ₹80₹170 – ₹230
High-Gloss + Anti-Static (Pharma grade)₹140 – ₹170₹30 – ₹60₹170 – ₹230

A standard 2mm job is ₹200/sq.ft — the honest all-in for a proper floor. Rates sit at the low end on clean mid-size floors and climb on small, prep-heavy or chemically demanding sites. Above 10,000 sq.ft, large-project rates drop toward ₹100/sq.ft (drums by transport, efficient labour). Prices as of September 2026 — typical ranges based on our 2026 installed-project data plus Bondone Flowtop / Silcrete / Jubitite Floro material list prices.

Standard 2mm epoxy floor — all-in ₹/sq.ft by NCR city (September 2026)
City All-in / sq.ft (2mm standard)
Delhi NCR₹200
Gurgaon₹200
Noida₹200
Ghaziabad₹200
Faridabad₹200

The ₹200/sq.ft all-in base holds across NCR — city differences show mainly in labour (Delhi NCR ₹14–18/sq.ft) and in freight on projects above 2,000 sq.ft (₹2–5/sq.ft). Above 10,000 sq.ft, rates drop toward ₹100/sq.ft.

Estimate Your Flooring Cost

Enter your area and pick a floor type — totals use the September 2026 ranges above (material + labour, incl GST). Above 10,000 sq.ft the calculator switches to the large-project rate (from ₹100/sq.ft).

All-in estimate: ₹2,00,000 Material only: ₹1,00,000–₹1,30,000 · Labour + prep: ₹70,000–₹1,00,000
Get an Exact Quote on WhatsApp

How the estimate is calculated: All-in = floor area (sq.ft) × ₹200/sq.ft. Worked example: 500 sq.ft × ₹200 = ₹1,00,000 (material + grinding + primer + labour + GST). Material share ≈ 500 × ₹100–130 = ₹50,000–₹65,000; labour + prep ≈ 500 × ₹70–100 = ₹35,000–₹50,000. Above 10,000 sq.ft use the large-project rate: a 10,000 sq.ft floor ≈ ₹10,00,000 at ₹100/sq.ft.

For warehouses above 2,000 sq.ft, 200kg drums are available. Prices are final regardless of quantity — no bulk discounts. See the full epoxy flooring guide →

05DIY vs Pro

DIY vs Contractor — Which Makes More Sense in India?

I get this question every week from small workshop owners. Here is the straight answer based on 200+ installed floors.

1

Under 200 sq.ft?

DIY is worth it if you already own a floor grinder and mixer drill. Material only: ₹80–120/sq.ft. One wrong mix ratio, though, and you lose ₹10,000+ in resin. I only recommend DIY for small, low-risk areas.

2

Over 200 sq.ft or any commercial floor?

Hire a professional. The all-in ₹200/sq.ft gives you proper surface prep, correct mixing, and a warranty. A contractor's flat rate also saves you from stripping and redoing a failed floor.

3

Budget tip

Do not drop below 2mm thickness to save money. A thin 1mm floor cracks at the first forklift impact and costs double to recoat. Cheap resin from marketplaces is the other trap — stick to Bondone, Lapox or Jubitite.

A real ₹1.2 lakh lesson

A workshop in Lajpat Nagar tried DIY on 800 sq.ft using cheap resin from an online marketplace. Within 6 months the floor turned yellow and chipped. They paid us ₹1.2 lakh to grind and recoat. "Should have called you first," the owner said. I hear that a lot.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the average epoxy flooring cost per sq ft in India?

A standard 2mm self-levelling floor (Bondone Flowtop) costs ₹200/sq.ft all-in — material and labour inclusive of GST, as of September 2026. Chemical-resistant floors using Silcrete or Floro are priced the same. Prices vary by city and substrate condition.

Why does epoxy flooring cost vary so much between contractors?

Some contractors quote ₹40/sq.ft but skip primer, use a thin 1mm coat, or buy cheap unbranded resin. I have seen ₹35/sq.ft floors fail in 3 months. A proper job with Bondone or Lapox, a primer, and 2mm thickness costs ₹200/sq.ft — you pay for what you get.

How much does labour cost for epoxy flooring in India?

Labour ranges ₹11–22/sq.ft depending on city and complexity. Delhi NCR runs ₹14–18/sq.ft, Mumbai and Pune ₹16–22/sq.ft, and Ahmedabad or Lucknow ₹11–15/sq.ft. Surface grinding is usually included in the labour rate.

Is epoxy flooring cheaper than tiles or marble?

Yes, for industrial spaces. Good vitrified tiles cost ₹80–150/sq.ft plus installation, while a 2mm epoxy floor at ₹200/sq.ft is cheaper, seamless, and needs no grout lines. For homes, epoxy is comparable to mid-range marble but with better stain resistance.

Can I reduce epoxy flooring cost by buying in bulk?

No. Prices are final regardless of quantity — a 200kg drum of Flowtop, Silcrete, or Floro costs the same per kg as a small kit. Bulk only lowers freight: drums ship by transport, trimming per-sq-ft logistics on projects above 2,000 sq.ft.

Does epoxy flooring cost include GST?

Yes. All our prices include GST and we issue a GST invoice for every order, so businesses can claim input tax credit. Always ask any supplier for a tax invoice before paying.

How do I calculate how much epoxy I need for my project?

Multiply your floor area in sq.ft by ₹200 for the all-in estimate. For material only, divide the area by the coverage: Bondone Flowtop covers 2–3 sq.m per kg at 2mm thickness. WhatsApp me your dimensions and substrate and I will confirm the exact quantity.

What is the cheapest epoxy flooring option in India?

A 1mm single-coat Bondone Flowtop job is the cheaper material route at ₹80–100/sq.ft — installed it lands around ₹180–220/sq.ft on standard floors. It suits low-traffic showrooms; heavy-traffic warehouses and workshops need the 2mm standard at ₹200/sq.ft.

Does epoxy flooring cost less per sq ft for large areas?

Yes. Above 10,000 sq.ft, all-in rates drop toward ₹100/sq.ft — material ships as drums by transport and crews work more efficiently. Below that, a standard 2mm job runs ₹200/sq.ft. WhatsApp your floor area and I will confirm your rate.
