Lapox Ultra — Professional Grade Epoxy Resin for Jewellery & Precision
Lapox Ultra is a structural epoxy adhesive — not a pouring resin. Si Epoxy supplies 10 kg to a Jaipur jewellery workshop every quarter. They use it to set hundreds of stones each week. In six months, not a single customer return for a loose gem. The bond strength is min 120 kg/cm² on aluminium. That's why auto shops and jewellery manufacturers rely on it. If you need a resin to pour into a mould for a river table, Ultra won't work — it's thick like peanut butter. But if you need to bond metal, ceramic, stone, or electrical components permanently, this is the real deal. 1.8 kg kit at ₹1,598.

Application Guide — How to Use Lapox Ultra
- Surface preparation: Clean both bonding surfaces. Remove dust, grease, and moisture. For metals, abrade with 80-120 grit sandpaper and wipe with acetone. For ceramics and stone, ensure the surface is dry and free of loose particles.
- Measure the ratio: Weigh 100 parts resin to 80 parts hardener on a digital scale. Never use volume cups — the density difference between resin and hardener makes volume measurement inaccurate.
- Mix thoroughly: Stir for 3 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the container. The mixture should be uniform in colour with no streaks. Keep the mix mass under 200g to prevent exothermic reaction.
- Apply the adhesive: Use a spatula or brush to apply the mixed adhesive onto one surface. For jewellery stone fixing, apply a thin, even layer to the setting. For structural bonding, apply a 1-2mm bead along the joint line.
- Clamp and hold: Press the parts together and clamp or hold firmly. At 25°C, the adhesive sets in about 2 hours. Remove clamps after 9 hours. Full structural strength is reached at 24 hours.
- Post-cure (optional): For maximum strength, warm the bonded assembly to 40-60°C for 2 hours after the initial 24-hour cure. This accelerates cross-linking and improves chemical resistance.
Best Uses for Lapox Ultra
Jewellery Stone Fixing
Setting stones in artificial jewellery, bonding metal findings, securing gems without fear of loosening. Ultra's high bond strength and water resistance make it a go-to for professional jewellers.

Lapox Ultra vs Clear Cast — Different Products
A common question is whether Ultra can replace a casting resin for river tables or art. The answer is no. Ultra is an adhesive — thick, structural, designed to bond surfaces. If you need a clear, low-viscosity resin for pouring deep layers into moulds for river tables, jewellery, or wall art, you're looking for art resin india — our Clear Cast range is designed for that. They serve completely different purposes and one cannot substitute the other.
If you need a strong, reliable bond for jewellery stone setting, automotive parts, ceramics, or electrical components, Ultra is your product. The mix is applied with a spatula or brush, the parts are clamped, and the bond reaches full strength in 24 hours. That 120 kg/cm² lap shear strength means the joint is often stronger than the materials being bonded. Workshops that switch to Ultra report fewer returns and reworks — a Jaipur jewellery workshop supply client confirmed zero loose stones since switching six months ago.
Ultra is one of the epoxy resin india products we stock from the Lapox range, alongside our Bondone and Jubitite offerings.
Delivery & Real Support
Ultra is a professional adhesive ordered by workshops and studios who depend on a reliable supply. We dispatch within 24 hours from our warehouse in Karhera, Ghaziabad. Metro delivery in 2–4 business days, rest of India in 4–7. Each kit is packed securely — we double‑bubble‑wrap because a damaged hardener bottle can halt production for a jeweller or an auto shop.
All sales are final. Please verify product details before ordering. If an item arrives damaged, we handle it on a case-by-case basis with photographic evidence.
Lapox Ultra — Real Questions I Get
What does 100:80 mix ratio mean?
100g resin + 80g hardener = 180g usable adhesive. Use a digital scale, never guess.
Is Lapox Ultra UV resistant?
It has good resistance to UV exposure once cured, but for prolonged outdoor use, a protective coating helps maintain the bond area's aesthetics.
Can I use a torch to remove bubbles?
No need. Ultra is a high-viscosity adhesive, not a thin pour resin. Bubbles are rarely a concern. Apply with a spatula or brush; the thick consistency doesn't trap air like a liquid resin.
What's the cure time?
Surface dry in ~2 hours, touch dry in ~5 hours, hard dry in ~9 hours, full cure in 24 hours at 25°C. Warming to 40–60°C speeds up the process.
Do you sell smaller kits?
We stock the 1.8kg kit. It's enough for hundreds of jewellery stone settings or multiple repair jobs. Contact us for stock availability.
Is Ultra food-safe after curing?
Yes — Lapox Ultra is food-safe once fully cured (24 hours at 25°C). It is used for food-contact applications where a permanent, non-toxic bond is required. Always ensure full cure before food contact.
How do I polish Ultra?
Ultra is an adhesive, not a coating. Once cured, the bonded surfaces are permanent. For finishing bonded jewellery, polish the substrate material itself, not the adhesive joint.
Can I use Ultra on vertical surfaces?
Yes — that's a key advantage. With 28,000–42,000 mPas viscosity, Ultra stays exactly where you apply it. No sagging, no drips. Apply with a spatula and it holds in place during cure.
