Application Guide

How to Mix & Apply

Prepare Surface or Mould

Clean and dry the substrate thoroughly. Ensure temperature 20–35°C and humidity below 65% RH. For silicone moulds, no release agent needed.

Weigh Accurately — 2:1 Ratio

Use a digital scale. Weigh 100 parts resin to 50 parts hardener by weight (2:1). For the 1.5kg set: ~1000g resin + ~500g hardener.

Mix Thoroughly

Stir for 3–4 minutes scraping sides and base. Add pigments or inclusions now. Pot life is 18–30 minutes — work efficiently.

Pour or Apply

Pour into mould (max 8mm depth) or apply as a self-levelling coat. Use a heat gun briefly to pop surface bubbles. Do not disturb.

Cure & Demould

Full cure in 24 hours at room temperature. Demould after full cure. Sand with 400–2000 grit and polish for extra gloss if needed.

Unlike Clear Cast, ClearLam CC has a shorter pot life. Have your mould or surface ready before you start mixing.

Mix ratio is 2:1 by weight only. Incorrect ratio causes sticky or soft cure. A digital scale is essential.

Below 15°C curing slows dramatically. Work between 20–35°C for best results.

Above 65% RH can cause surface cloudiness. Work indoors in controlled conditions during monsoon season.

Wear nitrile gloves and work in ventilated area. Uncured resin is an irritant. Wash skin contact with soap and water immediately.
