Product Description
Lapox Ultra Fast is a low-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive manufactured by Atul Ltd, one of India's leading chemical manufacturers. It is designed for high-speed bonding of small parts and assemblies where conventional epoxies take too long to cure. The adhesive forms a tenacious bond with non-porous materials and requires no mixing, no heat, and no clamping.
Unlike two-part epoxies, Lapox Ultra Fast cures by reacting with trace moisture on the surface. A single drop is enough for most joints up to 25mm². The bond appears within seconds, and handling strength is reached in under 60 seconds for most substrates.
Lapox Ultra Fast is part of our epoxy resin India range and is also listed under art resin India for small craft and jewellery repairs.

How to Use Lapox Ultra Fast
1. Surface Preparation
Degrease both surfaces thoroughly with toluene, acetone, or trichloroethylene. For maximum strength, abrade metal surfaces with coarse emery paper. Inadequately prepared surfaces will not bond satisfactorily.
2. Application
Apply the adhesive sparingly to one surface only — one drop is sufficient for most joints up to 25mm². Bring the components together quickly and align correctly. Apply firm pressure to spread the adhesive into a thin film.
3. Curing
Hold for 5–10 seconds. Do not disturb or re-align during curing. Handling strength is reached in under 60 seconds. Full mechanical strength develops over 24 hours.
4. Cleanup
Remove any surplus adhesive with acetone or nitro methanol before it cures. Cured adhesive can be sanded or scraped off.
Note for difficult surfaces: For polypropylene, polyethylene, PTFE, or silicone, apply polyolefin primer before bonding. For porous surfaces, use an activator.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dry place between 20°C and 22°C. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use. Do not expose to direct sunlight or humidity. Shelf life is 9 months in original sealed container. If the adhesive appears cloudy or milky, it has expired and should not be used. Allow refrigerated containers to reach room temperature before opening.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lapox Ultra Fast the same as Lapox Ultra?
No. Lapox Ultra is a two-part epoxy resin for jewellery casting and laminating. Lapox Ultra Fast is a single-component cyanoacrylate instant adhesive for bonding small parts. They serve completely different applications.
Can I use Lapox Ultra Fast for large gaps?
No. Lapox Ultra Fast has a gap fill of only 0.05mm. It is designed for close-fitting surfaces. For larger gaps, use an epoxy like Bondone Clear Cast or a structural adhesive.
How long does a 50g bottle last?
Since one drop bonds a joint up to 25mm², a 50g bottle typically lasts 200–300 applications depending on joint size. Cost per bond works out to less than ₹0.50 per joint.
Do you deliver Lapox Ultra Fast PAN India?
Yes. We ship from our Ghaziabad warehouse via Delhivery, Blue Dart, or surface transport. Same-day delivery in Delhi NCR for orders before 11 AM. Shipping charges apply on all orders.
How do I remove cured Lapox Ultra Fast?
Cured cyanoacrylate can be softened with acetone or DMF. Soak the joint and gently pry apart. For skin bonding, wash with warm soapy water and slowly peel — do not pull sharply.
What safety precautions should I take?
Wear gloves — cyanoacrylate bonds skin rapidly. Work in a ventilated area. Avoid eye contact. In case of skin bonding, wash with soap and warm water and pry apart gently. See the SDS for full safety instructions.
