Bondone Clear Cast UV Stable — Non-Yellowing Epoxy for Outdoor Use
Standard epoxy resin yellows in sunlight. Not immediately — give it 6 months near a window and you'll see the difference. I had a customer in Jaipur who made outdoor garden tables with standard Clear Cast. Beautiful work. Six months later, she sent me a photo. Amber. Not crystal clear. Amber. We redid them with UV Stable. Two years later, still clear. The 12% price premium pays for itself if your piece sees any sunlight at all.
Why UV Stable Matters
Every clear epoxy will yellow over time if exposed to UV light. The only question is how fast. Without protection, standard epoxy can start turning amber in as little as 4–6 months near a sunny window. With UV Stable technology, Bondone blocks the spectrum that causes yellowing, preserving crystal clarity for years.
I get this question every week: "Do I really need UV Stable?" My answer: if your piece will ever be within 3 feet of a window, yes. If it's going in a basement workshop, no. It's that simple. The ₹86 extra per kg is insurance against future disappointment.

If your project will live indoors away from sunlight, Bondone Clear Cast (standard) is the better value. But once UV enters the picture, UV Stable is the only right choice.
Best Uses for UV Stable Epoxy
Outdoor Furniture
Coffee tables, garden benches, patio bars that sit under a canopy but still catch daylight.
Window Displays
Jewellery trays, art pieces, or awards placed near glass — the UV filter keeps them pristine.
Garden Art
Sculptures, resin flowers, and decorative coasters that stay outside in indirect sun.
Items Near Windows
Any piece within 3 feet of a window. Even reflected UV degrades standard epoxy.
What UV Stable Does NOT Protect Against
Look, here's the thing: UV Stable is not a marine-grade coating. It dramatically slows yellowing from indirect sunlight, but it is not designed for direct, full‑exposure outdoor conditions with rain and constant UV bombardment. If you need epoxy for a permanently outdoor table with zero cover, even UV Stable will eventually lose clarity.
For those scenarios, you need a protective top coat or a marine-grade resin (we don't stock one yet — I'm testing options). For everything else near light but not soaking in rain, UV Stable is your answer.
Price & Availability
Only one size currently: 1.2 kg kit at ₹796. That's the sweet spot for most DIY and small‑workshop projects. If you need larger quantities, WhatsApp me — I might be able to arrange a 12 kg pack on request, but the 1.2 kg moves fastest.
Payment: UPI, bank transfer, or Cash on Delivery (COD) on orders within select PIN codes. COD orders require a small advance to confirm — honest, I've learned this after a few non‑serious orders.
Delivery & Returns
We ship PAN India from our Ghaziabad warehouse. Typical delivery: 3–7 business days. Metro cities get it faster; rural locations may take a day or two more. All kits are double‑packed with leak‑proof sealing.
Returns accepted only if the kit is unopened and within 7 days of delivery. I've had to enforce this rule after an incident where someone tried to return a half‑used kit — lost ₹3,200 that month. So I'm upfront: no returns on opened resin. Check our refund policy for details.
